When the 5 of Wands hits the table, there’s conflict. Just look at the card. You have five people holding wands and it looks like they are all ready for a fight. It may seem simple on the surface, but it's not.
Conflict can come in many forms. It can be internal or external. You could feel like you are in competition with others. Having to prove yourself to get ahead. Instead, what we need to do is try and collaborate and work together to achieve our goals.
Wands represent passion, energy and movement. It looks like everyone on the card is taking a passionate stance. Maybe what they should do is put down the wands and talk. It seems like tensions are running high. The 5 of wands can suggest finding a way to channel all of this energy into something productive.
When the 5 of wards comes out in a reading for me, I can feel a wide array of emotions. I can feel conflict, either internal or external, or jealousy. Sometimes I feel that someone is just done with the conflict and is moving forward. But I never feel that the conflict is so bad that someone can’t get past it. Other times I feel like it is a small disagreement.
This card encourages us to find a way to push past the conflicts, collaborate with others when we can and use our energy to overcome challenges.
